Insurance Admins: Simplify your filing process with Filing Company features

Looking for ways to improve your filing acceptance rates and efficiency? Sometimes the best options involve going back to the basics and reviewing your account setup.

A good place to start is your Filing Company information. Filing Company entries control the options you see when you initiate a filing.

Filing Company information is saved in each insurance company's administrator account. When you log in as an administrator, you can review and update the details recorded for each company.

Each filing company includes contact information, as well as state-specific information about the filing company.

The state-specific information is critical to filing successfully to participating states. These agencies have requested that insurance companies provide this information with every filing to facilitate a quick and successful review process.

For example, California insurance carrier information and NAIC numbers can be autopopulated by completing the appropriate questions in each Filing Company:

California needs to know that your company is admitted to file in the state in order to route your filing properly.

Non-admitted insurance companies must include the surplus line broker that is associated with their policies in California. If you enter this information, it will be automatically included with every filing - no need for separate data entry!
